Stop Spam Email

I thought I had pretty good spam protection, but today I received an email with my address as the return address and the to address. How did that happen? How do I stop it?

The information on the expanded header is what I usually use to find where the email came from but nothing helpful is on it. I saved the email if anyone needs to look at it, frankly, it makes me nervous.

I get about 15-20 not so nice kind of email in my bulk every day. I always just delete them, and never open them. I really want them to go away, any suggestions? I am afraid to open them in case of a virus or something. The computer I use is also used for my husband’s business stuff, so I really don’t want to take any chances of messing things up. any real help would be greatly appreciated.

Is there anyway you can stop getting junk mail from people and companies you dont know? I have like 100 emails and they are all junk mail. How do i stop them?

Should I set up my email just to receive who ever I designate in my Contact list? What happens to all the junk mail does go to the trash can?
Also, when I am viewing my email is there a way to click a button to auto add the senders email address and place it in my Contact book? Or do I have to click on Contact and added it manually?

Emails keep getting sent to everone in my address book through my email address. It is all spam.

How can I stop junk mail from even being sent to my email address? I must have signed up for something and consequently my email address has been given to third parties. It’s nothing but junk, but adds up and is a pain in the ass. It pisses me off to even look at. I have Hotmail and it’s filtered to a Junk folder, but I don’t even want it in there. I’ve gone years without having much junk mail and now it’s 20 emails a day. At first I was unsubscribing to whatever I could - but this quickly became too much work and makes me worry about viruses. Is there an easy way to fix this besides changing my email address, which I won’t do?

I use junk email filters which seperates most of the junk from my inbox, but I still get a lot of junk email. Is there anyway to stop it coming to my email address?
