Stop Spam Email

I have been receiving e-mails from the mayor of a city I used to live in. I have told him repeatedly to stop sending me e-mails and to remove me from his list, but he refuses to comply. He also publishes the full email addresses of people he sends them out to, which gets me put on other email lists. Is there any action I can take against him, legal or otherwise, to reprimand him for his actions?

Think about it….if we all hit ‘reply’ and and ask for more information would the spammers not be overwhelmed with emails such that they would not be able to filter their marks from the ‘reply spam’.
That is the conventional wisdom, however, I never respond to spam yet I still get tons of spam. Maybe we need to rethink that strategy?

I am getting over 100 spam emails each day. How do I stop them?

I keep getting emails that contain random long messages of a similar layout, but the sent from address, is different everytime. This means i can’t put the address in the spam filter because it is different each time. It’s more of an annoyance than anything. Please help.

I recently bought a new laptop from circuit city, they, or a few other sites where I necessarily gave out my email address, must have sold it to hundreds of junk mail mailers, every morning I have dozens of junk emails, not only in my junk mail box, but also in my regular box, how can I stop this, I have tried to check every individual site and checked the unsubscribe box, but to no avail, what can I do

I keep getting emails from a address with this name and subject every minute. Is there a way I can stop this?
This is the same email it always comes from even if I put it as spam.. It comes into my inbox at times.
