Stop Spam Email

i have over 2997 spam junk mail poated on my email address, how do i stop this for good

Is there anyway you can stop getting junk mail from people and companies you dont know? I have like 100 emails and they are all junk mail. How do i stop them?

I have tried calling the optout number but they wanted a lot of personal information like birthdate, social security number etc. Is that normal? - I mean for them to need all this information in order to remove my name from these mailing lists? Please let me know.

How can I stop junk mail from even being sent to my email address? I must have signed up for something and consequently my email address has been given to third parties. It’s nothing but junk, but adds up and is a pain in the ass. It pisses me off to even look at. I have Hotmail and it’s filtered to a Junk folder, but I don’t even want it in there. I’ve gone years without having much junk mail and now it’s 20 emails a day. At first I was unsubscribing to whatever I could - but this quickly became too much work and makes me worry about viruses. Is there an easy way to fix this besides changing my email address, which I won’t do?

i dont want to change my email address…someone told me to sign up for something on the web, & i got so much junk from different sites….i went to a few of the emails & unsubscribed, but its not working…any ideas?..thanks

When i signed up to a yahoo group i must have specified that i wanted a copy of all mail to go to my other email address, however i have searched and searched through the account options and cant find how to stop it. Help me please!! My email is wheezing under the strain!! thanks in hopeful anticipation xx

In other words, the computer won’t let it get into my bulk mail but it gets into my e-mail. why doesn’t the spam guard stop it from getting into my email?
